Fostering Social Auditing Course Series
Welcome to the Fostering Social Auditing Course Series, developed as part of the Fostering Social Auditing: Enhancing Issue Detection and Risk Identification through Responsive and Context-Specific Approaches project.
This training series is designed to strengthen the capacity of auditors and sustainability professionals to identify and address complex social risks during both external (third-party) and internal audits. Through practical, responsive and context-specific approaches, the course supports improved detection of issues such as child labour, discrimination, harassment, occupational health and safety risks, and barriers to diversity and inclusion.
The course consists of an introductory module on Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) and four thematic modules addressing key social auditing topics. Each module includes:
- A comprehensive training video
- A handbook with additional guidance, practical examples and exercises
- A summary video highlighting the key learning points and takeaways
