Background and Objective 

4C Regional Stakeholder Conference is a great opportunity for updating on the latest developments in sustainability certification, on regulatory as well as market requirements for coffee exports and is also a networking channel to all actors in coffee sector from the region.  

Last year, 2023, more than 450 participants attended 4C Regional Stakeholders conferences  in person and virtually, expressed the need and importance for the regular regional event as such of 4C.   

Continuing with the great momemtum of the engagement of stakeholders, the conference will be organized in Hochiminh city, Vietnam, on the 5th of December 2024, targeting important stakeholders who are representatives of agricultural producers, traders, coffee and/or cocoa companies, associations, NGOs and relevant government agencies.  

The multifaceted agenda of the 4C Regional Stakeholder Conference will include renowned speakers from various organizations. All presentations will be simultaneously translated into English, Vietnamese and Chinese (if relevant) and include topics of growing interest such as an overview of the no deforestation/EUDR, and due diligence requirements in the European Union, the German supply chain law, voluntary sustainability requirements for brand owners, implications for the coffee and cocoa sector, as well as sustainable strategies and developments in the region, such as Vietnamese and wider Asian coffee and cocoa sectors.
